This is my first Photoshop edit. It is normally impossible to get that much detail in the foreground when your camera is focused on something as bright as a sunset. But with a little magic... there you go!
I am posting this because I haven't posted anything in a while. I have had quite the change in schedule since I graduated. Unfortunately, it is not the best idea to post much dealing with work. I have, however, been trying to have some fun outside of work.
This is just a picture I took at Balboa Park the other night. I love San Diego.

This is at the begining of one of our many navigation courses. Look mom I even have my bear spray ready for a quick draw. Though, I am pretty sure that wouldn't do anything.
This is what Navy Seal training really consists of. Your country's best hard at work right here.
I am not in this picture, but this is the infamous rewarming drill in action. 5 minutes in this water and you can't feel anything. Minutes after and you can't think. I thought my mom would like this one.
We got to our lay up point very early the second night. Way too much time on my hands. Oh yeah, and if it doesn't get below freezing at night then sleeping in one of these is like sleeping in a refrigerator. It looks cool though.
This is a picture of my squad near our lay up the second night. Yes I am the one in the back with the cool hat!
When I woke up the second morning of our 3 day nav course this is what I saw about 300 yards away. I wish you could tell how big they are.
My nav buddy and I were following an obvious bear trail to our next nav point when I took this picture. I really like it. The bear never showed.
This is one of my favorite photos. It is from a diferent navigation course. Apparently from this position you can watch the samon gather at the base of the river that runs into this bay. You can also watch the samon sharks feed at the same time
This is picture from the 3 day land navigation course. The views were like this 360 degrees.
